[Constantine Kermit the Frog has revealed his true motives for bringing you all here. What was once a warm and welcoming house has now become your prison, encased in five feet of snow. If it's any comfort, be glad that the heater and electricity still seem to be working. For now. Perhaps searching for an escape route would be in your best interests.

[With another disapproving look, she holds up the shirt and the gun] These. The shirt's my size, too. [Which wouldn't be odd, except she's a human in a bear's house.../ Why would Emily have a shirt this size in here? Let alone this weird gun thing.

[the shirt's easy enough to explain] Well, it is a reunion. Perhaps she meant it as a present, and was unable to wrap it before ... whatever caused her absence here.

[he's not naive enough to think she got stuck in the snow, but he's not about to outright tell Sarah he thinks someone murdered her, either. not just yet. she's edgy enough]

As for ... that odd thing. I'm not sure. What's a gun?

It's a weapon. kind of like a cannon small enough to hold in your hand.

How would a cannonball that size do any damage? I couldn't knock a fairy over with something like that.

They go much faster than cannonballs, though. And some of them can shoot many bullets at once. In my world they kill a lot of people.

Then why are you leaving it there, where that frog could find it? We should hide it, so it can't be used.

[She laughs, covering her mouth with her hand. Sorry, dude, she can't help it.]

Jareth... that one's just a toy. It can't hurt anyone.

[she's laughing at him?! MOCKING him, even? Well...! he throws the toy gun back on the shelf with a sour scowl. his eyes shift around the living room as he searches for a way to save face, even if it means a complete 180 from what he just said]

Pity. We might have used it on the frog.
