Welcome to the 69th Muppet Family Reunion! (Plus Extended Family)
[You received the invitation for the Muppet Family Reunion about a week ago. These reunions have become a routine thing for you and the extended Muppet Family. Whether it be by plane, car, cave tunnel, or magic, you made your way to Emily Bear's house and settled in for the night. Emily Bear was nowhere in sight to greet you, but, surely that's nothing to be worried about.
However, upon waking up, you'll find that a fierce blizzard has descended upon the house overnight--several feet of snow have piled up on the front porch, and, from the looks of it, the snow won't let up anytime soon. Not to mention the fact that Emily is still not here.
Something feels wrong, but you can't quite put your finger on it.
You may notice a small note pinned to the wall where you slept, which reads:]
COME TO LIVING ROOM AT NOON FOR IMPORTANT FAMILY MEETING :)
[Whatever this meeting is about, you have some time to explore the house and chat with the other people gathered here.]
(ooc: Welcome to the Muppet Murder Hour mock trial week! The host NPC will show up around 5 pm est. Until then, feel free to explore the house and interact with everyone else!)

HEY, WAIT A MINUTE, CAUSE OUR DESTRUCTION?!

A very good game.
A game you should be asking about right now.

Alright, alright. What's the game? Hopscotch? Tail tag? Exploring dark tunnels? Knitting?
[He hopes it's knitting.]

It is a game of murder, little mole boy.

[Boober had had a bad feeling about this, and it turns out his feeling was correct. Granted, he has a bad feeling about just about everything, but that's unimportant because this time it was right.]
M... murder... i-isn't a game! It is something to be avoided and discouraged! Games aren't fun if they kill you!

Here are the rules- if one of you successfully kills someone else, without getting caught, then they are free to leave and the rest of you die.
If the culprit is caught, then the culprit dies and the rest of u live, still trapped here.
Doesn't that sound fun!!

W-wouldn't you rather knit socks, or take a nap, or find a corner to sulk in and sulk? Murder is cruel, and besides, all of this catching and getting caught sounds like more effort than it's worth.
[Boober thinks for a minute. How would anyone know who caught who? This game sounds incredibly convoluted and strange, even by his standards.]
I know! I will just go and hide in a corner. That way everything will be fine, and if this is a dream I will wake up and that's that.

As for hiding... You will only make yourself an easy target, little mole boy.
no subject
Besides, I wouldn't quite be hiding... more ignoring the horrifying reality around me and trying to make it go away with force of will.
[Boober glances around at the strange faces around him, both silly creatures and other bizarre people.]
And maybe somebody can help! Anyone? Please?

[He looks up at Dickens. What if..?]
What about you? W-we've spoken a bit! You can be my ally!
