Mock Investigation

[Friday morning rolls around, and you find yourself waking to a familiar sense of dread. Something is wrong again-- more wrong than everything else that's already happened throughout the week, that is.

But the rest of the house is quiet, as far as you can tell, and the area outside of the bedrooms seems to be clear of any sort of scene. Maybe the fear is unfounded.

Still, there's a few other floors of the house to search through, and it might be best just to be thorough in checking to make sure nothing happened overnight. You know, to be certain that Wilkins didn't snap another neck or something.

Investigate?]

[It's a good thing he hasn't eaten yet and ugh. Oh god, the smell. No offense, Camilla.]

Great! What else do we have here.

[Smells like chicken!

It depends. Does Bunsen want to look at the body first, or is he going to look around the room?]

[Guess he'll start off with bodytouching with whatever's left of the poor chicken :( ]

[Quite frankly, there's... not a whole lot left to work with. Her head is missing.]

Looks like our killer got a-head of her.

[HAH- let's hope no one heard that. How did she lose her head? Is it nearby?]

[The mods heard that.

Her head is actually quite far away from the body. As for how she lost it, well... there is a knife lying pretty close to the head, over there, if that means anything.]

That's...brutal. Who would do such a thing? The Chef may be dead, but...

[Anyway, moving right along. Is there more evidence in the dining room that he might've missed?]

[There sure is! There's... a funko pop lying on the floor as well, if he wants to go check that out.]

[The funko pop sure does stare into his soul. Impressive, seeing as he doesn't have eyes.]

Weird. I'll have to ask around if anyone's seen these before.

[Bunsen studies the item before pocketing the figure. Time to give the room another scan for more clues!]

[While studying it, he probably noticed it's got some slight damage to it-- chipped paint and a little dent, small stuff like that. Oh, and it looks just like Sarah.

Aside from the blood, felt, and feathers coating the room, there's nothing left to see aside from Camilla's head and body! Whichever half he wants to investigate first.]

[Jumps a bit at the realization that his glasses nearly fly up- He's talked to Sarah a lot, so he definitely recognizes the funko pop. An attempt to frame, maybe?]

The chances of her committing a crime
are less than point zero zero nine...

Good grief.

[It's Fine. Time to investigate her head, he guesses.]

[There's not much to see, as far as the head's concerned. It's a severed head, everything's about what you'd expect-- but there's some slight spots of blood all over her beak that stand out.]

That's weird.

[He'd have thought there'd just be blood all over. Is her beak damaged in any way?]

[themuppeteers]

[Nope! There's just blood on it that probably shouldn't be there. Even a fake doctor like Bunsen might find it odd.

...Then again, most of this blood in places where it shouldn't be. Outside of Camilla's body. But that's fine.]

[WHO ARE YOU CALLING A FAKE-

Does the blood all belong to Camilla? Or is there so much that there might be someone else injured too?]

[There's only enough blood here for one body--at least, as far as Bunsen can tell.]

Is that all for her head? He'll return to the body very soon.]

[Yep! That's all. Wanna look at the rest of this chicken?]

[Coming to the kitchen to practice his act a little, Lew expected to find an empty place, not such a mess!

What's that? A dead chicken? Oh... This makes Lew think.... This makes Lew think of Chef....

How nostalgic... His good friend The Swedish Chef truly loved those little chickens! Funny birds, they always were trying to run away from Chef.

Oh Chef, if only you were here to see this...!

Actually, wouldn't he be a bit jealous if he was here? Lew thought that if Chef were here, he would be both jealous and sad that someone took the chance to kill that chicken that he always wanted to cook himself. But now it was too late... Both Chef and the chicken were dead, much like Chef's lifelong dream of chicken stew.]

I gotta find out who did this to the chicken... As revenge for what they took away...

[Of course, he meant "revenge for killing the chicken when Chef wanted to do that so badly" instead of "revenge for killing Camilla", but hey, it's something.]

[Does Lew want to investigate the body of Camilla? Maybe he can glean some more information from that.]

If only this liveless body of a headless chicken could help me somehow to find who killed her...

[Lew begins to examine Camilla's body in case there's any clue. Maybe the killer forgot their ID in there or something.]

[Well, there's no ID, but Lew might take note that there is a small stab wound in the side of the body. If he does a little more digging, he'll find a small, oddly-shaped bruise under all those feathers.]
